The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 做得还不错？虽然人物设定简单，剧情冲突简单，就是一个普普通通的小故事。迷家的设定戳中我了，但是这个故事主线根本不需要迷家……这可能是让故事如此单薄的原因吧？在不需要的副线上开枝散叶大卖画面和设定，结果并没有起到丰富整体剧情的目的。就是一个宁静的童话。（嘛，用了一些有意思的神话元素还行，河童可爱诶）
很缓慢的电影，老奶奶带着两个孩子在狐崎生活的小故事，“每天只要有一点点福气就够了”，奇幻类型的，治愈型

宁静的让人觉得美好，色彩细腻美丽，也许一些平凡的小日子相加才是构成人美好生活的组合！

3.5星。觉得稍微有点虎头蛇尾。不过很喜欢喜欢中间奶奶讲述故事的那些片段的画风。
画风很美，很治愈。剧情一般，印象深刻的台词是，生活就要像这样尽自己所能，我们都别无选择。
很唯美 女生之间的感情拍的很细腻 女主的心思也拍的很细腻，就是女主的情感有点扭曲
只有温柔如美雪，才能包容自私又迷人的女主。现实生活中，救赎总是极小概率事件，因为电影只有两小时，而生活却有一辈子。
与之截然相反的女二，大和抚子型，“不为自己而活，要为重要的人而活”，这样的台词放别人身上会让人觉得懦弱，在她身上却合适又蕴含着内在力量，这样一个亚萨西的人，竟然没朋友。
看了，画风很喜欢，但是剧情有点过于简单了些……真的好喜欢日漫做饭，然后围着一起吃饭的场景啊，好温馨
山田小妹妹甜妹转腹黑攻，这对美少女百合可以可以！
关于爱，一定有爱的行动。
战斗太太太草率了，大部分妖怪好人，但又不深刻，没有特别治愈。

山田杏奈把一个任性强势腹黑心机的小白兔少女形象演活了，三人的外形和心理其实可以属于同一个或者任何一个普通高中生，或乖戾或自卑或远离集体，那些反复的情绪捉摸不透的心思，渴望被理解被爱，脱离原生家庭的束缚等等都在三人中体现。开头和结尾的配乐好听！一些场景设置和节奏很像动漫，女二声音也像声优太温柔了
