The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 拓荒者与游牧民都是无地可依的人群，前者代表着开拓、积极，后者则是流浪、悲观，就像西部片与这部电影的区别，西部片赞扬的是无畏的英雄，《无依之地》悲悯的是无地的普通人，前者反映了伟大国度的崛起，后者则是美利坚日薄西山的见证。
献给不得不上路的人，脑子里是John Ford，属于这个世纪的“愤怒的葡萄”，虽然“愤怒”几乎消失。

“在路上”此前是凯鲁亚克式的，是年轻的，酷的，nomadland完成了一次祛魅，直面了公路电影主人公如何拉屎撒尿的现实问题，但拍得还是很美，每一个片段单看都像纪录片，整体又是电影的，大年初一看对我构成了新的意义

人和大自然有种天然的亲近，这种亲近大过人和城市，在没有城市以前，人住洞穴、草房、石屋的时间总和远大于城市（我编的）
