The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 贾森·雷特曼现在沦落到拍这种片子了？曾经觉得他的《感谢你抽烟》、《朱诺》和《在云端》有多惊艳，现在就觉得这部电影有多讨厌。
小孩子趣緻醒目就成功了一半，至於另一半似乎也沒那麽重要。

一镜到底的拍摄形式很不错，符合本片的剧情需要，而且枪战看着很真实，也很爽，剧情直接简单，主要也揭露了美国黑监狱的种种暴行，思想内核还算正面。只是剧情的套路也很明显，比如对方袭击者都配备了手雷和炸药，这个海豹突击队小队竟然只有几把枪，显得不是很合理，而且最后拿个照片就把这名关键囚犯骗上了飞机，总感觉不真实，显得剧情有点烂尾了。
