The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 第一、谍报人员也是普通人，在相信与怀疑之间徘徊，正如男女之情（夫妻或恋人）。本片很好的融合了战争背景下谍报工作者的工作、情感（男主对妻子、对弟弟）。
影片最棒的部分就是男主角一口漂亮的伦敦腔，别的就没有了。

故事講述的節奏太好了，雖然匠氣，但是也看得出前期劇本相當紮實。劇本裡有很多發人深省的安排和巧思，只是過於節制，感覺還可以延伸另一部劇來。雖然演員空間有限，但其實是更考驗演技和經驗的。
木馬入城之後才有趣起來，我知道你們英國人全員都只想寫小説罷了……BG三角戀真的大可不必……

短而精吧，小成本做的挺好，反差萌，两个不同性格的女孩的友谊线也整挺好，最后愿意住一起也让人会心一笑吧。
谍报史上如此伟大的胜利，拍的如此平淡，或许很多伟大的细节，原本就是这么平淡的。
真实故事是传奇，这部片拍得却很平庸，一平到底，颇有催眠功能。脸书的发挥也平稳，双男主设定，几段嘴炮戏毫无亮点。历史军事迷可以看看，整体不推荐
