The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 今年以来最好的观影体验
Hard to get in at first, but not long after you'll realize it's still the 90s classic body horror Cronenberg, which not just those weird biomechanic machines, but the conflict, rebellion, evolution, so on and so forth. It's definitely the most sexualized Cronenberg movie. Everyone in the film is so obnoxious, but ultra seductive, except the black dude. WTF is that acting? Is that a joke?
视觉风格依然是典型的柯南伯格，尤其很多场景、道具直接呼应《感官游戏》，body horror再次展现令人欲罢不能的怪诞美学，相比表象，主题更为激进大胆，柯南伯格都马上要八十的人了，仍然对现实世界，对社会制度，对艺术探索保持清醒的警戒，依旧是当代电影的首席开拓者。痛感带来快感，痛感催生改变，痛感推动人类进化，痛感造就全新世界。
略恐怖又充满想象力，未来的人类会如此自戕来追寻自身吗
由人来改变的，而教育者本人一定是受教育
看不懂的、名导导的、名演员演的，一律算好片。

【9分】如果说前半部分还让我带着疑惑困惑和怀疑想打出七分，那当索尔最后坐在机器上献祭自己，流下那滴圣女贞德式的眼泪时，它在我心里变成了五星。其余见长评。
文本陈旧，概念陈旧，美术缩水，知觉层面啥都没。实在太不行……电影手册的编辑也老了吧。可能唯一辩护的点：他可能就是在做一部怀念式的电影。
