The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 其实剧情还可以，发现演员都比较眼熟，查了发现确实哈哈
稀烂的剧情，不过女主够美，最受不了的就是竟然让孩子来结尾。
这两星，给库拉格的，其他都如片名一样，支离破碎🙈🙈
高开低走，烂尾了。女主光环过重，适合不带脑看

月夜冰原滑行幾百海里，是個特別浪漫和獨特的場景，只是本片的搭配裡沒有源頭，又欠缺了收尾。
救命，女主拿着剑在豪宅追人太喜感了；女主吃了炸鸡手也不洗就摸冰箱跟手机，我快疯了真的快疯了；证明这电影是22年的唯一方法居然是某角色的手机是苹果12
后世的压抑的冰冷的残酷的不明所以的·······这就是战争！剧情简单就是送货，带着找女儿的毅力一直坚持！末世的打造与冰天雪地打4星！整体打3星！
冰天雪地的现代战争，迫不得已的终极武器，不能不让人想到现在的俄乌战争……但是故事真是烂，白瞎了北欧的一片好风光……
毁灭啥都无所谓，只要找到女儿。母爱是伟大，但这有点太偏激了吧？
男主形象不错，滑冰 冻尸 极寒环境 这些形式感还可以，就是明显越往后烂尾的节奏就明显了。
不能算小成本，至少还有揽胜和豪宅。情节比较紧凑，女主演技还不错，相信手机致癌的人，都很蠢。

真不愧是瑞典片，战争片也要在冰上拍，瑞典是不是人均会滑冰？。跟好莱坞大片的风格有明显区别，比较克制、缓慢，没什么起伏。最后有点莫名其妙，炸了不也一样污染吗？（男主蛮帅，女主很英气，符合角色性格）

末日片，战争+瘟疫（生化武器），没有背景铺垫，老实说，照人类这德性，也不需要什么背景铺垫，回头看the great war很有病很莫名其妙是吧，今天也一样啊，不是吗？42分钟左右那一幕很骇人，第一感觉是人命如草芥，但说是沉船事件的话，悲剧感顿减半。总之，冰面部分最好看，不单调，美，凄厉
感觉像是个预言电影。一开始即应验了给平民发武器；狗急跳墙的乌军最后要利用难民，用病毒武器来翻盘。战乱给百姓带来的灾难与严寒气候对停摆的社会的打击刻画地入木三分。但愿这个预言永远不会实现，但愿世界永远和平。
