A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

内容就七十分钟，歌舞编排本身还不错，可剧情拉垮的侮辱智商。近两年关于抚养女孩的bravery deficit讨论很多，就地取材，既然做matriarchy主线就应该鼓励bravery反抗传统，就鼓励妹妹拒绝祖母安排的婚姻支持姐姐接受vulnerable都能写及格，莫名其妙的转戏，莫名其妙的结局，一星打给音乐，一星给各种动物，Bruno那首歌值得一星。雷云哪位的老公是比着Weeknd做的吗，Disney＋明显是配合广告部门promotion在做这个项目，烂的一塌糊涂。
如果把魔法小屋看做是家族成员内心具象化的表现，米拉贝儿的gift就是洞悉人心，她看到的裂缝和摇曳的烛光即是那些已经不堪重负的内心——虽然外表若无其事，其实早已濒临崩溃，只有米拉贝儿最先察觉到，也只有她才能让其他人敞开心房去诉说那些只敢埋藏在心底的秘密，还有什么比这更珍贵的gift了吗。
昨天看了两部loser成长的故事，剧本都不行。这部因为动画片制作水平在，色彩斑斓又有音乐；看得更愉快一些。但也就bruno no no让我想起林漫威是写了hamilton的人。剧情实在是各种生硬，结尾草率。
伊莎贝拉也是同样的问题，和米拉贝水火不容几十年了，结果两人一起唱首歌就和解了。
你迪现在擅长拍的就是奇观片，小国异域文化观光片，伪善pc教科书，成家立业的、自我实现的、平复危机的是三个女性，俩爸都是倒插门，反抗封建大家长内核，齐全了。就知道标准迪士尼结局还是会把你失去的都还给你，最终还是靠魔法。
Mirabel居然自始至终不敢/无法直面自己没有魔法这件事 你可以躺平 但又不能显现出自己的无能 否则你可能会被姥姥赶出房子 5岁半摸完门把手后连夜送走
魔法来源于家族之爱，家人之间的嫌隙让魔法失效，重归于好让魔法复苏，其实就是个团结就是力量的故事，世界观小故事简单不是问题，问题大概是用悬疑冒险片的拍法来拍一个温情故事，最后就显得很单薄并缺乏动人之处，所有的家人基本都是走马观花一闪而过，女主没有和任何人建立起足够感染观众的高质量bond，当然迪士尼高质量的动画技术让整体的观影体验还算轻松和愉悦。We Don't Talk About Bruno的歌曲编排真得很不错，其他几首歌就有点一般般了，本片反复强调的一个道理似乎是强大之人无需事事完美，适当放松也是可以允许的，然而这一点实在太难让平凡的我共鸣了。
当国内还因为所谓的形象“乳滑”吵得不可开交，国外已经在展示种族侵略、关怀被伤害族群的心灵重建。迪士尼就是，你明明知道都是工业化套路，但就是美到你目瞪口呆、戳得你泪流满面，最后一边摇头一边鼓掌掏钱的一种存在。这次仍然是亲情，子女总是希望被家里人看到、让家人为自己感到自豪，而人们总是对家人最刻薄、最严厉。修复家庭关系，你将得到美妙的幸福魔力。
全家欢版“亚当斯一家”，然而Madrigal和亚当斯家族之间差了有一万个CoCo家那么远。
自从有了负责打磨故事的皮克斯，迪士尼就更专注量产唱跳MV了。P.S. 布诺鲁很小天狼星布莱克。片尾彩画依然是最好看的部分。
不声不响没热度的迪士尼动画。
解构了压力的作品，别逼自己太紧，生活要继续，快乐要继续。
家庭和美的老调之所以能又上厅堂，主要是拉丁裔传统文化的上位。不是说不对，只能说诠释得太幼齿。歌曲的质量是不错的，但是电影哪能只靠歌曲呢？
（后记，这电影的质量绝对配不上奥斯卡最佳动画长片，真的是94奥斯卡最拉的奖了）
@ iv 也算是一部想看蛮久的 因为很喜欢coco对这个期待很高但是陆续有朋友看完反馈说一般就没有这么期待了 有一节writ课班上有个自告奋勇说愿意自己的文章被当成样本读的写了这个电影 错过了前面40分钟左右因为去滑冰了没想到10点赶不回来 让室友给我讲了一下前情提要本来以为可以无缝衔接剧情但一进去还是有点没看明白 感觉是我在学校看电影看下来观众reaction最好的一场了hhh 这种合家欢就很适合朋友们一起看属于是气氛组了 都是i迪士尼 剧情就不说了 不管是矛盾还是和解都很莫名其妙 画面真的很好看 歌虽然好听但是穿插在里面真的很像一些mv就有点违和 看完以后听到一些学生在讨论这个电影到底想表达啥 有的说家庭团结有的说表达自己 太老生常谈啦 观众也看腻了 要惊艳观众还是得在主题上下功夫
