The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 《2001:太空漫游》＋《潜行者》＋《生命之树》……？好吧，这种概括其实是一种思维的懒惰。这部电影，拥有着无与伦比的原创性。
如地狱般的场景却令人惊叹这也是人间的存在。
观看那不可能的非一切，录量那不可能生成的实在。
【9】在他自己的噩梦里，他是疯狂的造物者。从未有过的奇特观影体验，一场纯粹的睁眼做梦之旅，沉浸到来不及反应：它是几乎没有剧情和对白的。曾经梦到过那种语言难以形容的cult画面，所以它是目前最接近我梦境的电影。极其私人化的片子，就好像怪奇生物设定集成精，喜欢的会爱惨，讨厌的干脆别看。

动画做出了许多真人无法通过演绎表达的东西，怪诞的作画也能看出许多对人类的隐喻，可整部电影的连贯性并不强，前半部分的惊艳到了最后也变成了空虚。
元素太多，不知所云，不过很末世/宿命论；在定格动画/三维cg/真人cg糅的很6，成片风格很统一
