The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 设定很好，具备爆款的潜质，但也许是限于成本（毕竟更复杂的冲突和更曲折的情节需要更多的特效量和主演的时间），剧本显得过于简单了，除了中间芬奇袒露一生和愧疚的部分让人动容以外，其他时间都是波澜不惊和平平淡淡，多少有点浪费了这个好的创意。

观感如何主要取决于对其的类型期待，毕竟把机器人换成一个偶遇的小孩效果也是一样的。2.5

单调的浪漫，留一些惬意，存很多悲凉。即使是四个最可爱的个体携手并肩，也依旧难逃物质的消泯与抹杀。杜威的粉碎，是全片最无助的时刻。狗狗的依赖，又给人以丰沛的信心。人生来便是悬置在荆棘上的气球，飞得高，扎不破。
汤姆汉克斯的表演给影片注入了太多灵魂，以一人之力拉高了整个电影的层次。在久违地沐浴到阳光时、看到蝴蝶飞到手上时，他所表现出的那种由衷的喜悦完全地感染了我，是仿佛真的可以使人全身心地喜他所喜、悲他所悲。片子结构简单，一边很平淡一边又很浓烈，结束得好像也是这样。看完还是很有回味。
再加上2021年全球极端天气频发，后疫情时代的人心惶惶，影片隐含的环保主题和治愈的剧情，成为一碗人畜无害又发人深省的鸡汤。
看到汤姆汉克斯，就知道这肯定是一部很中规中矩的电影，没有惊喜，和汉克斯这些年的表演一样毫无波澜。电影里面刻意加了很多烂俗情节，三星片只能变成两星片。

老汤的独角戏，很巧的小品，废土流世界观，有人工智能、机器人，但没有很深的探讨，平平淡淡，无甚回味。
设定和场景真的太fallout了吧！另外，是因为苹果投资的所以加州还没事？
