The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 头一回看这种官摄的音乐剧！！！！！超过想象的好看！这种凯尔特音乐我很喜欢……！
看之前甚至不知道这是一部关于911的歌舞剧，前面还在想怎么会有这么奇怪的故事设定（籍籍无名的小镇突然迎来大量飞机和数千名旅客），反应过来后十分佩服这个“在别处”的视角。

我最喜欢的音乐剧，没有之一。这是现代歌舞剧和现代社会的完美代表和缩影，也是人类命运共同体的赞歌。
看之前没想到这个剧传达的信息这么optimistic 卡司无缝衔接身份转换 in an ideal world 陌生人的善意 世界和平
太想念剧场了。本来看到简介的时候很疑惑，这么现实这么像新闻报道的故事用音乐剧表现不会很奇怪吗，看了以后震撼又感动。歌曲、表演、编排等等都很好，原卡官摄很好，要是有机会看现场就好了。
